Everyday, when I take my children to school, I ask them about the weather. It’s good to start a conversation of a new day.
Rain
One day, when I was taking Pony (PN) to school.
Bố Thịnh (BT): PN ơi, how is the weather today?
PN: (look up the sky) It’s cloudy. Is it gonna rain soon?
BT: Hmm, maybe. I’m not sure. Watch out boy, the puddle. Do you want to jump in a puddle?
PN: No, I may get wet.
BT: Do you remember who always wants to jump in muddy puddles?
PN: That’s Peppa Pig
BT: Do you want to do so?
PN: No, it’s dirty.
Sunny
PN: BT ơi, I want to go to the playground.
BT: No, it’s sunny. We have to wait for the next 30 minutes, until the sunset.
PN: But it will take years to the sunset.
BT: Then we still have to wait. If you play under the sun, you will sweat and get sick. Do you want to cough?
PN: No, but what should I do now?
BT: Find something to play, it won’t take long.
PN: BT ơi, con muốn xuống sân chơi.
BT: Không, nắng lắm. Đợi 30 phút nữa nhé, khi nào mặt trời lặn.
PN: Nhưng thế thì đợi lâu lắm.
BT: Thì con vẫn phải đợi. Nếu mà con chơi dưới trời nắng, con sẽ đổ mồ hôi và bị ốm đấy. Con có muốn ho không?
PN: Không, nhưng con làm gì bây giờ?
BT: Tìm gì đó chơi đi, sẽ không lâu đâu.
